At car week in Monterey, California, pebble beach, Mercedes-Benz presented the Vision EQ Silver Arrow demonstration car. This is an event that attracts car lovers and collectors from all over the world. The interior is dominated by traditional high-end materials such as genuine leather, polished aluminum and solid walnut wood. The digital cabin, on the other hand, is turning to the future: it uses a curved widescreen display with a rear projection and a built-in touch screen in the steering wheel.
The EQ brand is shaped by an avant-garde, distinctive aesthetic of modern luxury. Its roots come from a combination of analog and digital elements and a smooth combination of intuitive and physical design.
"Clean" as the unobstructed design of the Vision EQ Silver Arrow makes its design sensually transparent. The slim streamlined body is about 5.3 m long and about 1 m high. The body of the prototype was made of carbon fiber and covered with a series of layers of silver alubeam varnish.
Attention is also drawn to the cab with a hinged lid, as well as multi-armed aluminum wheels with fixed covers and fixed hub covers. To guarantee exceptional traction and, consequently, impressive acceleration, the Vision EQ Silver Arrow is equipped with slick tires in the size of 255/25 R 24 at the front and 305/25 R 26 at the rear. To Refine the prototype to the smallest detail, the tire supplier, Pirelli, helped recreate the star pattern on the tread.
