Kia Motors has unveiled a Studio model called the Futuron Concept,a new coupe-style SUV equipped with all-wheel drive that gives an idea of what the future electric vehicles of the Korean brand might look like. The Futuron Concept combines elegant body proportions with straight lines and smooth surfaces. The light body conceals an electric four-wheel drive, as well as a functional and high-tech interior.
Futuron debuted today at the China International Expo 2019 (CIIE) in Shanghai, which runs until November 10. Kia Futuron Concept has a length of 4850 mm and a height of 1550 mm, the wheelbase measures 3000 mm. The increased ground clearance is in harmony with the low body and gives the car a dynamic appearance.
The proportions of the body of the Futuron Concept provide mainly an electric transmission with a large-capacity battery that fits under the floor. Electricity is supplied to four powerful engines that are directly on the wheels. The increased ground clearance does not betray the low center of gravity, nor the fact that it hides the modern e-AWD transmission, which provides a lightning response to the driver's commands.
